UJI Pen Characters

When you teach Scriven your handwriting, it compares your letters with pen-written characters from the UJIpenchars2 database, and borrows a few rarely used symbols you didn’t write from the writer whose hand is most like yours, reshaped to match yours.

Hershey fonts

Characters a hand has never written are drawn from the Hershey fonts. The Hershey Fonts were originally created by Dr. A. V. Hershey while working at the U. S. National Bureau of Standards. The format of the font data in this distribution was originally created by James Hurt, Cognition, Inc., 900 Technology Park Drive, Billerica, MA 01821. They are read with the HersheyFonts library (MIT License).
